Wonderful antique porcelain eagle pot pourri, the reticulated ovoid pot pourri supported on the raised wings of an eagle perched on a rocky base. Coloured in earth hues from pale gold to deep caramel with a smooth matte finish.
Modelled in the fashion of a stylised bird perched upon rocks with its wings outstretched, holding the pot pourri above, decorated on a blush ivory ground with gilt highlighting.
Marked to Royal Worcester, shape G11, puce printed mark and dated to 1920.
