Royal Worcester figure of a boy leaning against a plinth with a vase on it, extremely rare
Shape 944, date code 1883.
18cm High
Figurine of a boy modeled by James Hadley in his well known 'Kate Greenaway' style. Model was produced in 1883, the date letter 'U' for 1883 is clearly visible under the Royal Worcester mark.
The figurine in excellent condition, the gilding is sharp and there is no evidence of restoration. It is approximately 18 cm high.
On the back there is a small crack in the enamel, possibly a factory defect (see photo).
This model is extremely rare.
