This exceptionally rare Chelsea porcelain figurine represents Diana, the Roman goddess of the hunt, seated on a rocky mound with a bow in hand and a hound at her side. It dates to around 1760, during the renowned Gold Anchor period of the Chelsea porcelain manufactory.
The figurine is exquisitely hand-painted, with Diana's facial features rendered in fine detail and a gold-trimmed headdress adding an elegant touch.
