An elegant Old Paris porcelain amphora, France c. 1820. Hard-paste body on square plinth with gilt handles and cobalt bands enriched with enamelled floral garlands, scroll friezes, and guilloche borders. Unmarked, consistent with independent Paris makers; comparable to Dihl et Guérhard and Darte Frères; related to early Jacob Petit.
