An early twentieth-century musical putti centrepiece attributed to C. G. Schierholz & Sohn, Plaue, dating to around 1900. A wide reticulated bowl sits above a wreath of applied roses, while four putti beneath it form a complete musical ensemble: mandolin, transverse flute, small vertical pipe and mouth organ. The soft modelling and pastel palette are characteristic of Plaue's early twentieth-century production and reflect the broader Dresden/Rococo Revival aesthetic.
