A substantial mid-18th-century French soft-paste porcelain figure group modelled in the chinoiserie style associated with early Vincennes and Paris workshops. The composition centres on an oval jardinière with two women and two Chinese children arranged in a flowing rococo tableau. The creamy soft-paste glaze, expressive modelling and gentle palette create a warm, sculptural presence ideal for a mantel, console or feature display. A decorative and atmospheric example of early French porcelain with strong interior appeal.
