Late-19th-century German pair of blanc-de-chine figures in the Berlin KPM-school tradition. A young man with pole and baskets and a young woman with grapes, each on a rocaille scroll base. Hard-paste porcelain; heavy castings with a glossy white glaze; rustic tree-trunk support to the boy; applied vine leaves and bead-grapes. The modelling follows 18th-century German Rococo pastoral types, rendered here with softened leaf cuts and rounded grape clusters typical of 19th-century workshop practice. Underside with glazed interior and central vent; to the boy's base a sketchy underglaze cobalt stroke (not a formal factory mark).
