The mug features a hand-painted rural landscape with a cottage, water, and a distant castle. On the reverse, there is a gilded monogram, likely the letter "A," surrounded by scrolling patterns and grapevine motifs. The handle is adorned with gilding, and the rims are elegantly accented in gold.

This prestigious acknowledgment allowed Grainger's Worcester to use the title "Royal Porcelain Works," elevating its status among collectors and connoisseurs.
