A superb pair of miniature Wedgwood lustre bowls in the Z5294 pattern, created by celebrated designer Daisy Makeig-Jones circa 1915. The exterior is finished in Blue Lustre with stainings and dark blue mottling, decorated around the rim with a continuous flight of gilded geese. Inside, a vivid Orange Lustre with crimson mottling is enriched with a border of gilt bird silhouettes, while each bowl's centre features a finely hand-painted gilt hummingbird. At only 2.8 cm high and 5.6 cm across, these rare miniatures combine outstanding craftsmanship with strong decorative appeal, making them ideal for collectors or as a unique gift.
