A beautiful Edwardian sterling silver card tray by Robert Pringle & Sons, hallmarked in London in 1904 and displaying the refined craftsmanship associated with quality British silver of the early 20th century.
The tray is made in a classic shaped form with a gently scalloped outline and raised border. The surface is richly decorated in the Rococo Revival style with scrolling acanthus leaves, shell motifs and floral sprays surrounding a central cartouche.
