Sitzendorfer Porzellanmanufaktur was established by Wilhelm Liebmann in 1850. Most of the manufactory was demolished in 1858 in a blast, but reopened later and continued to run until the second world war. Marked with both the classic Sitzendorf mark and the rarely used stamped country of origin mark only used around 1972, 'GERMANY DR' (German Democratic Rebublic).\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nExcellent condition, as if it has been kept in a glass cabinet since the seventies.
