Rare antique Russian Imperial Kuznetsov porcelain butter dish, c.1880. In the form of a pigeon, with hand-applied purple, pink, and blue glazes. Kuznetsov was the largest Russian porcelain maker and Imperial supplier. Stamped with blue eagle mark.
Height: 12.7cm, Length: 20.5cm, Width: 10cm, Weight: 442g.
Condition: Excellent for age, but note a small, old chip on the inner rim of the lid that has been filled and restored (see photo). No other major flaws.
