Beautiful pair of antique porcelain figurines, depicting a pair of water carriers from Eastern Central Europe. Blush ivory porcelain, with gentle, rosy patinas enrobing the figurine in spring shades.
The marks on the bottom are printed with paint and embossed. Marked to Royal Worcester, modelled by James Hadley. Dated to 1896.
Man is 20 cm in height
Lady is 21 cm in height
Condition of the woman: the neck of the jug and the pedestal on which it rests have been restored, please see photos, otherwise it is in excellent condition, with only slight abrasions of paint and gilding in accordance with age. The man does not display any damage, all in excellent condition, slight wear to the gilding in accordance with age
