The group rests on a naturalistic base with impressed Hadley signature, puce factory mark, and the model number 1115 to the underside.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nThis charming composition is attributed to the celebrated modeller James Hadley and reflects the Kate Greenaway style popular in the late 19th century. The figures are painted in soft Blush Ivory and Old Ivory tones with hand-applied painted and gilded highlights.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nOriginally part of a larger candlestick, the upper nozzle section is now lost, but the remaining sculpture stands beautifully as a self-contained decorative figure.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nMeasurements\u003cbr\u003e\nHeight: 27.5 cm\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nCondition\u003cbr\u003e\nVery good antique condition.
