The open basket beside the seated maiden was intended to hold flowers, potpourri or berries as part of the original decorative concept.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nThe undersides retain the applied pink triangular Royal Dux Bohemia mark and incised model numbers 2441 and 2442. A moulded signature \"H. Schubert\" appears to the side, identifying Hermann Schubert as the sculptor of the original models.
