Beautiful pair of antique Victorian leather calling card cases or wallets, fashioned from high quality, master-level dark leather. Reserved. discreet, yet elegant, this pair would have been found in the service or portfolio of any modern working man at the turn of the 20th century.
First wallet, monogrammed "A.R.", is dated to 1901. In a good condition, clasp works very well. Two large interior compartments and two small.

Larger wallet with silver crest is hallmarked to A. Carter. Dated to 1904. Clasp works well, two larger compartments in the interior.The leather around the edges of the large wallet is dilapidated and requires repair - please look carefully at the photos
