A fine 'Japan Basket' pattern Mason's Patent Ironstone Hydra (snake handle) jug. Underglaze blue picked out in iron red with the handle painted in green and pale orange lustre. In great condition -no cracks or restoration and showing little sign of wear. Printed 'Mason's Patent Ironstone China'. Height 11cm (4.3in)
