A refined pair of Hong Kong export porcelain boxes produced in the late 20th century for the Western market. Each has a dense porcelain body, vivid famille-rose enamels and a pseudo-armorial lid echoing classic European and Chinese decorative traditions.
The bases carry two characteristic Hong Kong export stamps linked to the You Xian Ju Jianzhi group: one auspicious four-character seal and one figurative official's mark. These studios worked in small runs combining transfer outlines with fine hand-finished enamels, aiming for quality rather than volume.
Their bright colours and crisp execution give this pair strong decorative presence.
