An authentic late-Ming / early-Qing Chinese temple sculpture depicting a seated civil official on his original stepped plinth. Gold leaf over red bole with fine black floral diaper and red lacquer droplets. The figure's yoke-back throne, cloud-mask apron and paired shishi cubs reflect classic southern iconography. Dense weight (3.809 kg) and deep patina confirm authenticity.
