Beautiful trio of Japanese porcelain wares, featuring a gourd vase and two dishes, painted in ochre reds and depicting floral and decorative motifs.
Kutani 九谷 Zo 造 (made in Kutani). Kutani ware (九谷焼, Kutani-yaki) is a style of Japanese porcelain traditionally supposed to be from Kutani, now a part of Kaga, Ishikawa, in the former Kaga Province. The term kutani means "Nine Valleys". The first mention was in 1655 during the Meireki era. According to tradition, clays suitable for porcelain making were found in the Kutani mines of the Daishōji clan.

8.5 cm in height, 4.8 cm in diameter
Plates are 12.7 cm and 15.7 cm in diameter respectively
