Pair of Staffordshire Miniature Gardener Figures, Attributed to James Dudson, c. 1840
A charming pair of Staffordshire pottery miniature figures depicting a gentleman and lady gardener, decorated in the distinctive ‘blue parsley' style with hand-applied gilding. These small-scale figures reflect the pastoral themes popular in early Victorian decorative ceramics.
Unmarked, but stylistically attributable to the work of James Dudson of Hope Street, Hanley, Staffordshire, circa 1840. Dudson was known for his fine-quality figures and decorative wares during this period, often characterised by detailed modelling and soft yet vibrant colour palettes.

Condition
Excellent antique condition overall. No chips or restorations. The gentleman's base has a thin hairline crack, likely original from firing. Some wear to the gilding in places, as expected for age. Please review all photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
