An outstanding antique Bohemian tea set by Moser, Karlsbad, Bohemia, circa 1890. The set includes six finely crafted cobalt blue glass cups with matching saucers, richly decorated with intricate gilding and raised enamel floral designs. Each piece features precision wheel-cutting and meticulous hand-finishing, hallmarks of Moser's world-renowned craftsmanship. Moser's glassworks were celebrated across Europe and beyond for their clarity, weight, and artistic refinement. The firm received prestigious awards at the World's Fairs in Vienna (1873), Paris (1889), and Chicago (1893). Their work is distinguished from even Venetian glass by exceptional sculptural precision and ornamental depth. Similar examples are held in the Corning Museum of Glass, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Museum of Decorative Arts in Berlin, and the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. Moser supplied his luxurious glassware to numerous royal courts, including those of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Ottoman Sultan, the Shah of Persia, and the British royal family.
