A decorative matched pair from a Kyoto studio, late Meiji period. Rows of haloed arhats, cloud-dot grounds and dense raised gold create a shimmering surface. The pair displays balanced symmetry — ideal to flank a mirror or shelf.

Condition
One vase structurally sound with only light gilt rubbing. The other has a rim crack, professionally glued. Rotate to the back for a flawless display. Stable fine craquelure typical of Satsuma ware.
