Beautiful Japanese large Imari bowl, hand painted in traditional colours. Age 1850-1899, Meiji period.
Inside the bowl is a very unusual and rare dragon, bird of paradise and dove pattern.
Outside the pattern of flying storks.
Top diameter 21.5cm
Bottom diameter 10cm
Height 7.5cm
Weight 703 grammes
Condition:
Two chips along the edges of the bowl.There is a small hairline crack running from each chip.
Otherwise excellent antique condition.
