A beautifully crafted German porcelain figure of a shepherdess with lamb, inspired by the iconic Chelsea-Derby models of the 18th century. This piece stands out for its high-quality modelling and painting—the delicate flowers, expressive features, and rich yellow skirt exemplify the best Dresden and Thuringian craftsmanship from the late 19th century. The figure is marked at the rear with a blue underglaze anchor, imitating the famous Chelsea-Derby "gold anchor and D" mark. There is also an impressed circular mark to the underside, typical of German factory or mould signs from this era. Collectible and decorative, this figure will appeal to both porcelain enthusiasts and interior decorators seeking an authentic revival piece. Figures of this type are increasingly valued for their artistry and connection to 19th-century historicism.
