Flight & Barr Worcester soft-paste porcelain teapot with matching stand, wrythen barrel form, gold floral decoration, c. 1793-1804
An elegant Flight & Barr Worcester soft-paste porcelain teapot featuring a distinctive wrythen barrel-shaped body, finely hand-painted with a delicate gold floral pattern on a clean white ground. Dating from circa 1793-1804, the teapot is accompanied by its original matching stand, decorated with the same refined gilt motif.
Both the lid and base of the teapot bear incised marks 'B' and '+', which are consistent with early Flight & Barr Worcester production, circa 1792-1807.
